We have a selection of coating applications for existing membrane roofs. These can be applied to Torch-On and Butyl Rubber systems which are reaching the end of their useful life. BAP (Bitumastic Aluminium Paint) can be used on both Butyl and Torch-On.

  • Helps prolong life of Membrane

  • Cools roof (high reflective qualities) UV

  • Easier to keep clean

  • Looks good.

Torch-On membranes at the end of their life can become brittle and lose their mineral chip protective layer leaving the membrane susceptible to UV attack. A good coating system prevents this.

Butyl Rubber Membranes can oxidize, developing a matt finish, attract and retain heat and collect air borne dust. Heat from the membrane can be transferred to the living areas of the dwelling making it uncomfortable for inhabitants.

Acrylic coatings are used mostly in areas where water off the roof is being used for human consumption.
